Being objective

The greatest mistake a nation can make is to allow those who seek money; fame & political gain dictate the pace & set the tone in any election.

While the media says that the people are questioning Obama’s character, it is actually not true. People are questioning other issues like the gas price, the bad economy & the dreadful war in Iraq. Americans have more sense to want a better life for their families than to chase trivial issues.

Will the media quit their issues, maybe not but lets visit issues that matter as they unfolded;

  1. Obama, an unknown Senator announced himself for the Presidency of the USA.
  2. Obama began a slogan for change & has rewritten what Politics is all about introducing new players in the process.
  3. Obama ran against many Senators & one of Americas most loved Senators who had a better chance than him & he won.

The most disappointing moment for me was when a former member of the KK endorsed Obama, it was a proud moment for many blacks yet the media did not report this as a turning point in America’s history. It was a ground breaking endorsement yet it was not valued & still is not valued. To me, this endorsement had to be celebrated especially this year making the great Dr. Kings memorial & this is what the Dr. lived his life for, this was an endorsement worth the reflection of the Dr. King’s work & life.

To all who doubt what Obama is all about, look at the past 15mnths, he has energized a nation & made politics more interesting than it has ever been in a long time, give him due credit for that. Senator Clinton has run a great race sure but Obama has just done nothing but the same, he has also broken records in new voter turn out & fund raising beyond belief.

I believe America is on the verge of change & the hunger for something new has just started to consumer people minds, by the time elections are here, America will just be ready to embrace CHANGE so much that the Republicans got to go.
